The Brown Jewish Journal is an independent journal focused on Brown University’s Jewish community. We hope to provide a platform for Jewish students’ voices on topics including cultural experiences, antisemitism, and dorm-friendly Jewish recipes. We hope to foster both community and dialogue among Brown’s Jewish students.

Students and alums of Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design can submit pieces.

There is no minimum or maximum length requirement.
Are pieces published as-is, or are they edited?
Our editorial team works with authors to revise pieces, focusing on sourcing and clarity. Pieces are never modified or published without author approval.
